Job Description

As a Contact Centre Solution Architect at NCS Australia, you will occupy a pivotal, client-facing position within our consulting and delivery teams. You are responsible for bridging the gap between complex business challenges and cutting-edge technology, serving as a trusted advisor to our enterprise and government clients. Your primary focus will be designing end-to-end customer experience (CX) transformations, leveraging modern cloud-based contact centre platforms (CCaaS), AI-driven automation, and seamless integration frameworks. You will lead the architectural vision from the initial discovery phase through to high-level design, ensuring that every solution is scalable, secure, and meticulously aligned with the client’s strategic objectives.

In this consulting-led environment, you will collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals and technical roadmaps. You aren’t just building systems; you are redefining how brands interact with their customers. This involves navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, facilitating design thinking workshops, and providing technical leadership during the implementation phase. By staying ahead of industry trends—such as generative AI, omnichannel orchestration, and advanced analytics—you will ensure NCS remains at the forefront of the Australian CX market, delivering tangible value and operational excellence for our partners.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should bring a blend of technical depth and consulting flair. We are looking for:

  • Strategic Architect: Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale Contact Centre solutions, with deep expertise in leading platforms such as AWS Konnect, Microsoft D365, CX one, Live Person, Google CCAI
  • CX Visionary: A strong understanding of the broader CX ecosystem, including CRM integration (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics), Workforce Engagement Management (WEM), and IVR/Self-Service design.
  • AI & Automation Advocate: Practical knowledge of implementing Conversational AI (Google Dialogflow, Lex, or Nuance) and an understanding of how Generative AI is reshaping the agent and customer experience.
  • Consultative Mindset: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for C-level stakeholders. You are comfortable leading workshops and defending architectural decisions.
  • Problem Solver: An analytical thinker who can navigate legacy infrastructure constraints while charting a clear path toward cloud-native modernization.
  • Collaborator: A team player who thrives in a matrixed environment, working alongside project managers, developers, and business analysts to ensure the architectural vision becomes a reality.
