Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, budgeting, financial management, scheduling, quality reviews, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, and other project documentation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Lead and manage contaminated sites projects for Tier 1 clients, building and maintaining strong relationships by understanding their needs and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • A relevant university degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, or environmental engineering, and a valid drivers licence
  • Extensive experience in contaminated land assessment and remediation, with a proven track record in project management and client engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian and Western Australian technical guidance and regulations (advantageous)
  • Experience in the assessment of upstream oil and gas and mining sites in northern Western Australia (advantageous)
  • Willingness to occasionally work remotely in the field or complete site visits across Western Australia and potentially other locations in Australia.
