ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an awesome opportunity for an experienced wordsmith to join our Cotton On Womenswear team as a Content Copywriter, covering a maternity leave contract. Working within the Creative team, you will ideate, write, and collaborate with a number of cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for writing copy and executing our brand tone of voice across all customer touchpoints including digital, website, social, instore signage and packaging. You will focus on providing and maintaining quality and consistency to build brand awareness, customer engagement and to drive traffic online and instore across our Womenswear brand.

If you’re passionate about brand voice, content to commerce, omni-channel customer experiences, and call yourself a bit of a word nerd, we’d love to hear from you.

Bonus points if you tell us your favourite brand and why. (Hint: It doesn’t have to be a fashion brand, it could be their packaging design you love, their witty Insta captions or their quirky product names).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Proven experience in copywriting, creative writing, digital media and marketing
•    Qualification / degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred
•    Understanding of basic SEO principles and digital metrics
•    Demonstrated experience creating engaging customer content 
•    Incredible level of attention to detail and accuracy
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
