The Content Manager at Tracksuit will create engaging content across various formats, strategize distribution, analyze performance, and collaborate with teams to enhance brand storytelling.
Content underpins our entire marketing strategy here at Tracksuit. It helps our audience build better brands and fuels our global growth. We’re hiring someone to help create industry-defining narratives for the marketing industry globally in 2026.
We’re looking for someone who is just as skilled at writing snappy, short-form copy for social media as they are at writing a data-driven report or newsletter. This isn’t your typical content role: we're now tracking over 10,000 consumer brands across 25 markets, which means we’re sitting on a huge moat of interesting data and powerful insights.
If you’re hungry to help us educate the wider industry on effective marketing and the value of brand building (and tracking), then this is the role for you.
You’ll know how to make Tracksuit relevant by localising storytelling that aligns with key industry calendar moments and brands in culture. You can analyze and observe markets at large, distill key learnings and best practice advice for our audience, and write with humour to make data fun and playful. Having a background in content writing, copywriting, journalism or social media is preferred for this role.
Please note – while we have listed this role as being based in our Sydney office, we are also open to Auckland applicants and this person working from our NZ office.
This is a fixed term contract (10 months).
Why this role is exciting
You'll be in the driver’s seat of our marketing team, making a genuine impact on the marketing ecosystem and the career trajectories of our customers. You'll also play a huge role in creating a world where the business community understands that great brands build commercially successful businesses.
We’re helping brand marketers become more elevated in their status and not need to spend so much time justifying themselves to skeptical stakeholders. Where imaginative, thoughtful, meaningful brand marketing is more commonplace than intrusive, irritating and ineffective promotion. And where ambitious businesses grow bigger and more sustainably.
As the Content Manager, you will be reporting to the Content Marketing Lead and will be responsible for:
- Writing both short and long-form content, including social posts, emails, case studies, thought leadership and educational resources that build affinity in our key markets
- Content scheduling and effectively maximising the distribution of this content across multiple channels, including social media, newsletters, video, blog, and PR
- Ideating ways for Tracksuit to cut through the noise and tell interesting stories about brand with our distinct point-of-view and tone of voice
- Monitoring our content performance to report on results on marketing initiatives
- Identifying knowledge gaps and the opportunities for content to solve pain points and make marketers smarter
- Partnering with our designers and other creative teams to create visuals that bring your content to life
- Working with internal stakeholders to ensure the right messaging and content is being delivered to the right audiences
- The ability to do basic video shooting and editing on a phone is also a bonus.
That’s the role, so who are you?
- A kind, smart and genuine human who’s excited by the world of marketing
- Someone who has adept marketing and media industry knowledge (or is prepared to get up to speed, quickly)
- An excellent communicator who has strong content and copywriting experience across different mediums (blog, website, social media, email)
- Strong digital capabilities, including SEO knowledge and previous CMS and CRM experience
- Experience shaping narratives for owned or co-marketed marketing campaigns
- Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into accessible, engaging content
- 3-4+ years experience in a similar role, ideally in content writing, copywriting, journalism or social media
- A collaborative team player who’s willing to work closely with different stakeholders to get the best results
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (this isn’t mandatory)
