Job Summary:
The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and evolving a comprehensive content strategy for Klaviyo's key APAC GTM segments. This role will lead content-driven initiatives and campaigns - including customer story development, white papers, videos, podcasts, email copy, presentation narratives, and webinars - while also taking on additional responsibilities across the team and within the wider marketing organisation as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive content creation aligned with audience-centric demand generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with members of the marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on key insights, themes, deliverables, and outcomes.
  • Identify and execute high-impact, high-visibility content opportunities that resonate with target segments and are relevant to current trends and industry topics.
  • Source market research and consult marketing experts for audience insights and additional content direction.
  • Become an expert on Klaviyo's customers, their challenges and opportunities, and contribute to building advocacy for the brand.
  • Understand and create content to drive SEO impact, ensuring our owned media is up-to-date, relevant, and driving outcomes.
  • Ensure editorial integrity and quality in published content and creative assets, including reviewing and/or editing the work of third-party agencies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to repurpose, repackage, and/or refresh existing global content for local audiences and distribution channels.
  • Work with Klaviyo's legal team and cross-functional leaders to ensure content strategies are compliant with applicable regulations and Klaviyo's policies and best practices.
  • Accurately forecast and track/report on marketing metrics and KPIs to demonstrate how your work impacts the numbers. Use data to make recommendations on what content should be created or optimised.
  • Maintain organisation and status updates for assigned projects, including using shared tracking systems and following up with stakeholders as needed.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of the full marketing funnel and how content plays a strategic role in driving both short- and long-term business results.
  • A gifted storyteller, writer, and/or producer with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to craft compelling stories with maximum relevance for internal stakeholders and the target audience. This includes diving deep into topics and customer segments, producing technical or industry-specific content, and translating complex ideas into easily digestible pieces for general consumption.
  • Experience producing exceptional video/audio content, with a strong understanding of how to keep the content production process moving smoothly.
  • Strong analytical skills for researching topics and distilling critical issues.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritise and justify trade-offs with data; demonstrates sound judgment in identifying opportunities versus impact.
  • Deep understanding of, and commitment to upholding, high editorial standards and integrity.
  • Willingness and ability to become a Klaviyo expert, with a thorough understanding of our products, solutions, and customers to perform this role effectively.
  • Curiosity, humility, creativity, and a strong interest in playing an important role on a small team.


Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of B2B content marketing or ecommerce tech content marketing
  • BA/BS degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of digital marketing channels and strategies (Blog, Search, Social, Video, Email, etc) and written communication designed to drive action
  • Prior experience working with business software, including Google Docs, Google Analytics, and Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Experience developing high-impact content (measured by industry-standard KPIs or OKRs), such as case studies for ecommerce and/or B2B customers
  • Broader experience in multiple marketing functions-you're a content expert, but you deeply understand most B2B marketing activities

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The pay range for this role is listed below. Sales roles are also eligible for variable compensation. This role is also eligible for competitive benefits and perquisites, subject to company policy and applicable law
Base Pay Range in Local Currency:
$136,000 - $204,000 AUD
