About the role (What you'll be doing)

We’re looking for a creative, organised Content Producer to accelerate Pilot’s content output. You understand how modern advertising lives and breathes on digital platforms, and love collaborating to bring ideas to life.

You’ve got on-set experience and can own productions end-to-end, whether it’s a quick and dirty iPhone shoot, or a full-scale campaign. You’ll work closely with the Creative Lead to scale our talent roster and shooting frequency, whilst collaborating daily with Creatives and Editors.

At Pilot, we do almost everything in-house, so this is a chance to do it all. You’ll work across everything from paid social, new formats, activations, and brand campaigns. We create a lot of fast, funny content with comedians and creators, and you’ll ship more in 3 months than most agencies do in a year.

If you’re looking for a new challenge and can bring a strategic and efficient mindset that will help scale our content engine, we’d love to have you on the team. You’ll have the chance to make bold, original content and create work that helps to improve the lives of Aussie men.

  • Own end-to-end production of Pilot shoots, from planning and scheduling, to shoot-day execution and final delivery
  • Work with the Creative Lead to identify and own strategic initiatives to scale the production of content, and increase efficiency of our content engine
  • Build and manage a reliable talent roster across creators, influencers, and patients to allow for weekly content shoots either in-studio, on location, or remote
  • Collaborating with Videographers, Video Editors & Creatives to answer briefs and bring content to life via production coordination, problem solving, logistics and wrangling
  • Work with the Creative Lead to Produce larger brand campaigns for BVOD and TV that may require external Crew, Production Companies, and a detailed post-production schedule
  • Keep the production engine humming, by managing talent usage rights, agreements, supplier comms, scheduling, and tracking systems
  • Manage production budgets and timelines, including forecasting and reconciliation, to ensure we move quickly without compromising quality

About you (Who you are)

  • 3–6 years’ experience in a social content or advertising environment, ideally in a fast-paced in-house team
  • Confident leading small to mid-scale shoots, and comfortable wrangling crew, gear, talent, schedules, and approvals
  • Enjoy working with Creative peers, and have a passion for bringing ideas to live via video. You are confident to share your ideas and production solutions to drive projects forward
  • Incredibly organised with extreme attention to detail - someone who strives to bring oder to the creative chaos and can manage multiple moving parts at once
  • Skilled in production planning, supplier management, and stakeholder communication. You also have existing relationships with local suppliers, freelancers, and production crew
  • Comfortable working in a high-output, growth-focused environment
  • Collaborative, proactive, and strategically minded to help shape how we do things as we grow
  • Have a demo reel / portfolio of your best work

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with paid social or performance-driven content
  • 1st AC on set skills / Directing experience
  • Experience working with real people stories, testimonials, or UGC
  • Experience producing integrated multichannel campaigns
  • Art Direction experience
  • Basic editing or camera skills
