About The Role:
We are looking for a CI & Optimisation Lead to join the Operational Excellence Team, reporting to the Head of Operations. Ideally you will bring an analytical mindset to the role with the ability to analyse complex outcomes through your curious nature and ability to ask qualifying questions.
You will support the team to evaluate existing processes, define, present and help implement your solutions, whilst working with multiple SKUTOPIA stakeholders in order to help them grow and optimise their operations. In parallel, you will help the Operational Excellence Team to develop the different future operational requirements, supporting on small projects to complex automations.
Our Operational Excellence is a growing team helping the business achieve long term goals. The mission of the team is to bring logistic expertise, develop processes and engineering systems as well as guiding the business decisions based on supply chain analytics.
In this role you will:
- Take ownership of the Continuous Improvement aspects of operations within our existing and future fulfilment centres.
- Oversee the development of quality systems including the documentation of processes, SOPS and knowledge bases to support ongoing improvements.
- Represent Operations Excellence in pre-sales activities including working with cross-functional teams to evaluate merchant feasibility and associated process development.
- Utilise Lean methodologies to identify quantitative and qualitative constraints within the existing FC environment and provide recommended corrective actions to the Operations and Tech leadership teams.
- Drive special projects including upgrades to existing automations, revised layouts for functions within the FC and procurement of additional assets in line with approved initiatives.
- Develop and manage a team of process engineers with a strong focus on QA and training elements of operations.
We think you will need:
- 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, preferably within a warehousing and logistics environment
- Creative and open mindset
- High level of analysis and long term view
- Lean and Six Sigma methodologies knowledge (desirable)
- Adaptable and hands on approach
