As the Commercial Contracts Lead you will be responsible for the complete life cycle of a catalogue of contracts and tenders relevant to the ANZ Commercial business simultaneously. A pivotal role who will manage cross functional teams through contract negotiations, contract execution, through to contract renewal.
You will manage total contract compliance including documentation control, facilitating amendments, providing operational optimization, periodically report on performance and provide updates to key team members.

- Identify contract and tendering opportunities that are relevant to ResMed’s products and services.
- Complete contract lifecycle management from negotiation to end date and/or renewal.
- Fostering and maintaining the relationship with external key stakeholders by being the primary contact.
- Facilitate contract execution and maintenance within ResMed. This includes monitoring of contract KPI’s and obligations to ensure all parties meet 100% of their commitments.
- Partnering with internal teams to prepare and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders while also maintaining data accuracy.
- Maintain a repository of procurement related documentation including templates, correspondence, reports, plans, strategies, performance updates, contract change proposals, and other contract management documentation.
- Identify and address any major commercial risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Development of internal processes and procedures for teams to follow. Including regular reviews to ensure process improvements are considered to enhance productivity or performance.
- Capability to conduct contract reviews to seek opportunity for improved performance or optimization.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or contract management
- Previous experience in contract management, preferably within the Medical Devices field.
- Experience in high stakes contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to legislation, regulations, procurement policies and procedures related to contracts.
- The ability to manage cross functional teams utilising project management principles.
- Working experience with BI solutions such as Cognos, Tableau and SiSense.
- Ability to influence, negotiate and manage internal and external stakeholders’ expectations and priorities.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in contract documentation and compliance management.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple contracts, deadlines, and priorities.
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines and handle contract related inquiries promptly.
