How you’ll make an impact 

  • Develop and execute annual business plans to meet and exceed revenue, profit, market share, and growth targets. 

  • Identify and cultivate new corporate revenue opportunities, expanding Air New Zealand’s market presence. 

  • Lead pricing strategies and key account negotiations to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction. 

  • Analyse commercial performance, providing insights and accurate forecasts to guide strategic decisions. 

  • Build and maintain exceptional customer relationships, fostering loyalty and driving revenue growth. 

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing Sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. 

What we’re looking for 

  • Significant experience in sales management, ideally within aviation or a similarly dynamic industry. 

  • Proven track record in strategic planning, commercial negotiations, and developing profitable revenue streams. 

  • Outstanding communication skills and commercial acumen, capable of influencing senior leadership and external stakeholders. 

  • Strong analytical abilities to provide actionable insights and effective sales forecasting. 

  • Ideally, a relevant degree in business or equivalent experience.
