Corporate Secretarial, Senior Associate
Australia
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm
Hybrid
Some of the things you'll be doing:
Company Secretarial Support:

  1. Assist in managing company registers, preparing and lodging ASIC forms, drafting resolutions and other statutory documents, monitoring ASIC debt status and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
  2. Coordinate and lodge forms with ASIC for changes of company details, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  3. Prepare and organize meeting packs for board meetings and committees, ensuring consistency, clarity, and high-quality materials.


Client Services:

  1. Provide excellent services to clients by addressing their inquiries promptly and professionally.
  2. Communicate effectively with clients to gather the necessary KYC documents for internal onboarding processes and periodic reviews.


Compliance Monitoring:

  1. Assist in the periodic compliance review of companies and trusts, ensuring adherence to all relevant frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  2. Ensure compliance with up-to-date legal and regulatory standards, as well as internal compliance monitoring procedures.


What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
Education: A graduate qualification in commerce, business, governance, or law is required.
Experience:

  1. Approximately 4 years of experience in corporate secretarial roles, with a solid understanding of ASIC regulations and corporate governance practices.
  2. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Junior or Associate role.


Skills:

  1. Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
  2. Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.
  3. Ability to work independently to manage company registers, prepare documentation, and liaise with regulatory bodies.
