Mental health clinician will provide counselling services through the Telus Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Our EAP service provides short-term counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various personal issues that may or may not be work-related. Services are delivered face-to-face, and online via telephone and video sessions.
Providing confidential counselling services to employees facing personal or work-related challenges.

Conducting assessments to understand clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Offering short-term counselling or crisis intervention to address immediate issues.
•
Referring clients to external resources or specialists for long-term support if needed.
•
Collaborating with other professionals to support employees' well-being.
•
Maintaining accurate records of counselling sessions while ensuring client confidentiality.
•
Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in counselling and mental health support.
•
Providing consultation to managers and supervisors on handling employee-related issues sensitively and effectively.
•
Practicing self-care and seeking supervision or support when dealing with challenging cases.
