The ANZ business has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager to take the next step in their career, stepping into a role that offers real challenge, accountability, and a clear pathway toward becoming a National Business Manager.
As Haleon’s Customer Business Manager Coles, you will be someone who can unlock value creation with retail customers and bring that value to life through sharp commercial thinking, brilliant execution, and genuine cross-functional collaboration
A day in the life:
- Drive revenue and operating income across your customer, within budget and with commercial discipline.
- Monitor, optimise, and maximise trade spend & ROI so both Haleon and the customer win.
- Plan and directly manage customer activities, ensuring consistency across accounts.
- Execute promotional plans aligned to category strategy and Haleon guidelines including regulatory-approved advertising support.
- Feed insights into POS development so what lands in store moves product.
- Coordinate category reviews and deliver compelling business reviews with your customers.
- Maximise range, distribution, and NPD ranging in line with launch plans.
- Develop deep understanding of the key drivers behind the Joint Business Plan and ensure delivery through smart initiatives and flawless follow-through.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration on execution, promotional activities, competitor trends, and market shifts bringing clarity through complexity.
- Conduct monthly field visits in each state/territory with Territory Managers when in-market.
What you’ll bring
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn insights into action across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead through uncertainty, drive strategic engagement with retailers, and embrace complexity.
- Account management & negotiation capability and understanding of the Australian retail market and category dynamics.
- Experience in influencing both directly and indirectly across teams.
- High proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint and confident delivery of business & category reviews.
- Previous account management experience within, FMCG or Pharmacy experience
- Relationship builder who embodies Haleon values and can collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders.
