Provide technical onboarding, implementation, configuration, training, demos, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform guidance for direct customers. Configure APIs, integrations, and monitoring workflows; partner with Customer Success, Support, Security Operations, Engineering, Product, and Documentation teams. Manage multiple customer issues, explain technical concepts to nontechnical users, and build product expertise toward future Technical Account Manager or Solutions Engineer opportunities.
About the Role
Bolster is hiring a Customer Success Engineer (CSE) to provide hands-on technical guidance and support to our existing, directly-sold customers — helping them onboard, implement, and get ongoing value from Bolster's platform. This role is scoped entirely to Bolster's own direct customers, but in certain circumstances, may also engage with channel partners.
This is an earlier-in-career, growth-oriented technical position. The product depth and customer-facing skills you build here are the same foundation the TAM role is built on — this CSE role is intentionally designed as our internal feeder track into TAM or a Solutions Engineering role.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor visas or provide employment-based immigration support for this position now or in the future.
What You'll Do
• Lead technical onboarding and implementation for new and existing direct Bolster customers.
• Configure integrations, APIs, and platform settings — across domain, social media, app store, marketplace, and dark web monitoring and takedown workflows — to match each customer's setup.
• Run technical training sessions and product demos as customers ramp up or adopt new capabilities.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting for product issues, partnering closely with Support, Security Operations and Engineering to resolve them.
• Work side-by-side with Customer Success Managers on customer calls as the technical point of contact.
• Track common technical questions and friction points and feed them back to Product and Documentation.
• Build deep product knowledge across Bolster's capabilities.

What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (technical support, implementation, IT/helpdesk, or similar) — or a strong technical foundation from education or internships and a clear interest in moving into customer success.
• Comfortable learning a product quickly and explaining it clearly to non-technical customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized; comfortable managing multiple customers and open items at once.
• Genuinely growth-minded — interested in building toward a Technical Account Manager or Solutions Engineering role over time, not just staying in a single-product support seat.
• Preferred: basic familiarity with APIs, web/DNS concepts, or integrations — willingness to learn quickly matters more than existing depth.
• Preferred: coursework, internship experience, or personal interest in cybersecurity, brand protection, fraud prevention, or digital risk.
• Preferred: exposure to support/ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce) and basic scripting.

From opera to comedy shows, the Sydney Opera House hosts more than 1,600 performances a year, yet its entertainment sector isn't the only one taking center stage. The city's tech sector has earned a reputation as one of the fastest-growing in the region. More specifically, its IT sector stands out as the country's third-largest, growing at twice the rate of overall employment in the past decade as businesses continue to digitize their operations to stay competitive.
