Help schools achieve better outcomes for students.

At Tes, we are looking for a Customer Success Manager to own a high-volume book of small and medium school accounts across a territory.

You will carry both new business and work on retention, growing product adoption across the Tes portfolio while protecting and renewing existing revenue. It is a fast-paced, transactional, phone and video led role built on disciplined pipeline management, quick cycles and a high number of quality conversations each day.

Sitting within Customer Success, the role is measured on the two outcomes that matter most in the SMB base: winning new adoption of Tes products and keeping the accounts we already have. It is the front line of both growth and retention at volume.

If you are passionate about building meaningful customer relationships, driving customer outcomes, and making a genuine impact in education, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

New business and expansion

  • Drive new adoption of Tes products across the SMB base, with an emphasis on Timetable, Learning Pathways and Parents Meetings.
  • Run a high volume of outbound and inbound conversations each day, qualifying quickly and moving opportunities through short, transactional sales cycles.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell additional products and modules into existing accounts, lifting product penetration across the portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, accurately forecast pipeline in Salesforce.

Retention and renewals

  • Own renewals across the account book, securing on-time, full-value renewals and minimising churn.
  • Identify at-risk accounts early and act on them, escalating where a save needs support.
  • Handle price uplift and CPI conversations at renewal with confidence.
  • Keep every account current on the products they hold, the value they are getting and the next best product for them.

Pipeline, systems and ways of working

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all activity, opportunities and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Work to daily and weekly activity and conversion metrics, not just end-of-quarter numbers.
  • Partner with the wider Sales and Customer Success teams to hand off enterprise-scale opportunities and complex technical needs.
  • Represent Tes professionally and consultatively in every interaction, reflecting the needs of schools and teachers.

What You'll Bring

Essential

  • Proven inside sales, account management or renewals experience in a high-volume, transactional environment, ideally SaaS or subscription.
  • A track record of carrying and hitting both new business and retention targets.
  • Confident, high-tempo phone and video seller who can hold a high number of quality conversations each day.
  • Strong pipeline discipline and CRM hygiene, ideally in Salesforce.
  • Consultative, credible and resilient, able to move quickly without dropping care for the customer.
  • Comfortable owning renewals, price uplift and churn conversations.

Desirable

  • Experience selling into schools or the education sector, or into K-12 specifically.
  • Familiarity with EdTech products such as timetabling, learning or parent engagement tools.
  • Exposure to a two-motion model combining growth and retention in a single book.

 Why Join Tes?

  • Join a global organisation making a real difference in education.
  • Work directly with schools and education leaders across Australia.
  • Own strategic customer relationships and influence customer success outcomes.
  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team.
  • Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working environment.
  • Contribute to solutions that help educators and students thrive.
