Job Summary:
Associate will be tasked with the planning and coordination of operational activities to ensure government regulations and ordinances as well as corporate standards and adhered to. This will include implementing training, recording violations, following through on violations through remediation. Keep up with necessary research regarding regulations. Work closely with other department heads to ensure all departments remain compliant.
Primary Responsibilities:
Execute Cybersecurity due diligence activities partnering with business and technology teams to identify and communicate cyber risk to Sysco.
Design, build, and communicate metrics and reporting to leadership.
Design and implement continuous improvement opportunities to reduce cyber risk and implement efficiencies applying the latest industry best practices.
Report Findings, rate the risk associated with the finding, work with teams to ensure remediation.
Continue to monitor for compliance
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technical field of study. Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
Education Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technical field of study.
Experience Required:
5 or more years of experience in cybersecurity M&A integration, cybersecurity project management, security risk assessment, or audit.
Strong experience in cybersecurity or technology project management and budgeting.
Strong experience working with business and technology cross functional teams.
Strong experience in coordinating and managing work performed by internal and external team resources.
Strong experience in one or more information security (NIST CSF) and privacy domains.
Strong experience in process improvement and re-engineering.
Experience in large enterprise environments.
Excellent oral and written communication and ability to engage with senior stakeholders across the enterprise.
Licenses/Certification Required:
Cybersecurity certification
Licenses/Certification Preferred:
Cybersecurity Certification, CISSP or CEH or equivalent
