The Client Engagement Lead ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, coupled with extensive experience in client-facing advisory services. This includes a proven track record of successfully engaging with high-net-worth clients, institutional customers, and senior executives, as well as strong leadership and team management skills. Previous experience in a similar role within a financial institution or a consulting firm is highly desirable, along with relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are also essential for effectively conveying complex technical information to diverse audiences and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
The Client Engagement Lead operates with a high degree of independence in decision-making across various stages:
Defining Problems: Independently identifies and defines cybersecurity challenges and opportunities facing clients, third parties, and Wells Fargo. Requires minimal oversight in determining the scope and nature of problems.
Gathering Information and Data: Exercises significant autonomy in gathering relevant information and data from various sources, including client engagements, industry research, threat intelligence, and internal databases. Determines the appropriate data collection methods and resources to be utilized.
Analyzing Options: Independently analyzes potential solutions and courses of action, considering factors such as cost, risk, feasibility, and alignment with strategic objectives. Evaluates the trade-offs and benefits of different approaches.
Choosing Optimal Courses of Action: Has considerable latitude in selecting the most appropriate courses of action to address identified problems and achieve desired outcomes. Decisions are typically made in consultation with relevant stakeholders but with a strong degree of personal judgment.
Making Recommendations: Formulates recommendations to clients, third parties, and internal stakeholders based on thorough analysis and sound judgment. Recommendations carry significant weight and are often adopted without substantial modification.
Influencing/Guiding: Independently influences and guides clients, third parties, and internal stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices, risk management strategies, and compliance requirements. Serves as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the field.
Representing a Business Group to Others: Acts as a primary representative of the Cyber Client & Third-Party Advisory group to external and internal audiences. Represents the group's interests and perspectives in a professional and persuasive manner.

- 7+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
