The Role:
Ready to make an impact by driving data-driven decisions and shaping strategic success?As a Data Analyst at Prezzee, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the company’s future by analyzing complex data and uncovering trends that inform key decisions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll translate insights into actionable recommendations that propel the business forward. You'll also oversee the data infrastructure that supports our analytics, ensuring it’s robust and efficient. Your contributions will be vital to achieving our broader strategic goals and driving growth across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Ongoing development and management of our data pipelines to data warehouses, data lakes, dashboarding platforms and other downstream systems
  • Ongoing development and management of our ELT processes to transform raw data into final tables for reporting, dashboarding and analysis
  • Reporting on key business metrics to stakeholders from across the organisation (Product, Strategy, Marketing and Customer Care, to name a few).
  • Identifying and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets using data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Cleaning and normalising data from core business applications (e.g. Segment, Braze, the Prezzee back-end).
  • Presenting data-driven findings and recommendations back to the business in a clear and actionable format.
  • Working directly with management teams to gather requirements, scope and prioritise analytics work, and provide regular status updates.
  • Engaging with senior business stakeholders to understand and document user journeys, in order to design and implement product feature analyses;
  • Knowing the right questions to ask different stakeholders to get to the real problems to solve (which might not always be what they start with).
  • Provide thought and technical leadership to more junior analysts

What We’re Looking For:

Core Skills:

  • Strong background in data engineering & analytics roles
  • Programming proficiency - SQL, Python
  • Setting up and maintaining data pipelines - dbt, Talend Stitch, Fivetran, Spark
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools - Google Looker
  • Marketing technology platforms - Twilio Segment, Hubspot, Google Analytics (GA4) 
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, e.g., AWS Redshift, Databricks etc
  • Ability to transform and analyse large datasets
  • Ability to write comprehensive documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem solving
  • Proficiency in data visualisation
