About the role:

You will be supporting the organisation through data-driven insights. You will work closely within the data team to support and deliver value to hipages, both in the development and execution of hipages commercial strategy.

You will be inluential in supporting the hipages marketplace as we continue to evolve and apply your experience to find the best experience for our customers. But most importantly, you’ll be joining a collaborative data team with experience and skills across all facets of data from engineering to data science.

You’ll work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the company with reporting, insights and analytics capabilities across various projects and disciplines from channel performance to segmentation and reporting.

How you will add value:

• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends and patterns in structured data
• Be able to translate findings in an evidence-based way to peers & wider business 
• Perform ad-hoc data mining and exploratory data analysis with small to medium-sized datasets
• Identify and apply appropriate statistical methods to draw actionable insights 
• Work alongside your team to understand and interpret the data needs of the organisation
• Contribute to the planning and design of data initiatives

About you:

• Data analytics experience for an e-commerce or technology company
• Intermediate level of SQL or equivalent
• Passionate about all things data, and the ability to digest complex data and storytelling
• Organise data findings and synthesise them with business results to form high-level business recommendations
• Communication skills with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills
