About The Role
APG is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to lead the technical design, development, governance, and maintenance of our enterprise reporting and analytical environment.
Reporting to Head of IT and Data, this role partners closely with the Business Analys to deliver accurate, scalable, and high-performance data solutions that support operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic growth.

In this role you will:
 

You Will:
  • Design, build and maintain scalable data models and semantic layers to support enterprise reporting.

  • Develop and optimise advanced SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and transformation logic.

  • Cleanse, structure and standardise raw system data to ensure integrity and usability

  • Ensure consistency of master data definitions across systems

  • Maintain data accuracy across ERP, WMS, BI platforms and operational systems.

  • Prepare structured datasets for Business Intelligence and reporting use.

  • Participate in system upgrades, integrations, and new implementations to protect reporting structures.

  • Support UAT and system validation activities from a data integrity perspective.

About You

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in Technical Data Analysis, BI development, or enterprise reporting projects

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience building optimised data models

  • Strong experience with Power BI (including DAX and semantic modelling) or similar BI platforms

  • Solid understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and master data governance.

  • Experience working with ERP or operational business systems

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

  • The ability to work closely with a Business Analyst to translate business requirements into technical solutions
