How you’ll make an impact
This role is crucial in enhancing our financial data capabilities by providing meticulous and insightful annotation of complex financial information. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development and improvement of advanced financial analysis tools and Q&A systems, ultimately empowering better strategic financial decision-making across the organization. You will leverage your deep understanding of accounting principles and financial instruments to ensure the accuracy and relevance of data used in critical financial applications.
What you’ll do
- Precisely annotate intricate financial data, including financial statements, complex financial instruments, and strategic financial analyses, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Interpret and categorize nuanced financial information based on advanced accounting principles and industry best practices
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to refine annotation guidelines and improve the efficiency and quality of the annotation process.
- Identify and flag inconsistencies or ambiguities within financial data, contributing to data cleansing and quality assurance efforts.
- Potentially contribute to the evaluation and improvement of financial Q&A systems or advanced data analysis tools through accurate and insightful annotation.
- Apply your understanding of fundamental accounting principles and bookkeeping practices to ensure the correct interpretation of financial data.

- Experience with data annotation or labeling is a plus.
- Experience working in a contract or freelance capacity is beneficial.
