The Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Engineer to play a key role in managing our data and analytics workflow. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and product areas, leveraging your expertise to build and develop advanced data pipelines across a breath of business areas.

Your new role:

  • Design, implement, and optimise robust data pipeline architecture to guarantee accurate, timely data ingestion, transformation, and storage across diverse databases and systems.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify, acquire, cleanse, and manipulate data from a variety of operational systems and our analytics platform.
  • Assemble intricate data sets tailored to evolving business objectives and proactively maintain key data features to maximise model precision.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines that support seamless ingestion, transformation, and deployment of data products.

About you:

You are a motivated professional with proven experience in data management, architecture, and end-to-end solution delivery. Your background includes expertise in:

  • Data Mapping and data Modeling (3NF, Star-schema, Big Tables, Columnar, Key-value pair, and JSON documents).
  • Experience in modern data warehouses, ETL workflows, batch processing, and parallel computing including using SQL and Python to manage, transform and automate data pipeline processes. 
  • A deep understanding of Data and Analytics best practices, along with strong data management or quality capabilities to underpin analytic reporting.
  • Prior success building both real-time and batch data pipelines and streams completes your profile.
