Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Data Management Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in transforming complex data outputs into meaningful insights that drive business decisions, manage risk, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with an understanding of data governance, privacy frameworks, and enterprise data environments.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data analysis, business insights, or analytics roles
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data privacy, risk, and compliance concepts
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms/tools where interpretation of outputs is required (not just dashboard reporting)
  • Demonstrated ability to link analytics work to measurable business value (e.g., risk reduction, efficiency improvements, compliance uplift, cost savings)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical outputs and business impact

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data discovery, data governance, privacy, or DSPM tools (e.g., Securiti.ai or similar)
  • Background in telecommunications or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience analysing data classification accuracy, confidence levels, and trends
  • Familiarity with data lifecycle management concepts such as data minimisation, retention, and remediation
  • Experience defining and tracking outcome-based metrics or value realisation frameworks
  • Exposure to cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
