Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Architect with strong hands-on experience migrating data from Amdocs platforms into Salesforce (CRM / Industry Clouds). The role will be responsible for defining migration strategy, architecture, governance, and execution approach while ensuring data quality, integrity, and minimal business disruption.

The Data Migration Architect will lead the end‑to‑end design and execution of data migration initiatives for large‑scale telecom transformation programs, with a primary focus on migrating complex data sets from legacy Amdocs platforms into Salesforce. The role is responsible for defining migration strategy, architecture, and sequencing; creating source‑to‑target mappings; and ensuring data quality, integrity, and reconciliation throughout the migration lifecycle. The architect will collaborate closely with Salesforce, integration, and business teams to align data models, manage transformation rules, and support cutover planning, while establishing governance, risk management, and compliance standards for sensitive telecom data.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in data architecture and large-scale data migration programs
  • Strong telecom domain experience (BSS/OSS)
  • Proven experience migrating data from Amdocs platforms (Billing, CRM, Order Management, Customer Data)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce data model and data loading tools
  • Salesforce: Data Loader, APIs, integrations, data model design
  • SQL and data profiling techniques
  • ETL / ELT tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
  • Data reconciliation, validation, and migration testing
  • Cloud platforms (Salesforce, AWS, Azure or GCP – preferred)
  • Experience with complex hierarchical and relational data models
  • Understanding of event-driven and API‑based migration approaches
  • Experience with Salesforce Telecom / Communications Industry Cloud
  • Experience in large telecom transformation or digital modernization programs
  • Salesforce certifications (Architecture, Integration, Data, or Platform)
  • Experience working in Agile / SAFe delivery environments
