The Data Chapter Lead will provide leadership and guidance to the data professionals within the chapter, fostering professional growth and collaboration. This role involves defining the vision and strategic priorities for the Data chapter, developing and implementing data management strategies, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. The Data Chapter Lead will work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support seamless data management and process automation across systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to the data professionals within the chapter, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Define the vision and strategic priorities for the Data chapter, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Develop and implement comprehensive data management strategies aligned with business objectives and Oracle ERP capabilities.
Oversee the administration, security, and optimization of Oracle ERP systems and related data environments.
Establish data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and deliver solutions that drive business value.
Manage data integration processes between Oracle ERP and other enterprise systems.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance data management capabilities.
Create and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and architectures.
Present data insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Ensure all data management activities align with the overarching architectural principles and business requirements.
Partner with security and governance teams to ensure data management solutions meet compliance standards.
Provide technical expertise on data management platforms, middleware, APIs, and data pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data management challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Stay updated on emerging data management technologies and trends, incorporating them into the chapter’s practices where relevant.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating existing data management solutions and identifying areas for enhancement.
Champion the use of automation tools and techniques to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
Encourage experimentation with new technologies and practices to drive innovation within the chapter.
Establish and maintain governance frameworks for data management design, development, and deployment.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in leading data management projects and teams.
Strong understanding of data management platforms, middleware, APIs, and data pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data management issues.
