What you’ll do:

  • Extract, structure and analyze data to construct the foundation of a clinical database in an effort to improve matching patients to clinical trials and/or patient identification for oncology care gaps 
  • Work with multiple data sources, including EMR databases, to extract and operationalize relevant information 
  • Create and combine various data sources to derive insights using SQL and dbt
  • Translate business needs into operational processes and understand the necessary technical and operational requirements
  • Consistently evaluate and improve the trial-matching and/or care gap processes including maintaining documentation and the organization of documents and templates
  • Maintain highest quality standard through rigorous QA process to identify and correct technical mistakes and inconsistencies in results
  • Create dashboards using data visualization tools to improve and streamline reporting related to business operations

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical or healthcare related field
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • SQL Proficiency
  • Experience with dbt preferred
  • Experience with Looker or other data visualization tools 
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to work in an agile and expanding team environment

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with EMRs & clinical data
