The Enverus Data Science team builds advanced data-driven products that drive value across the energy value chain. We combine AI, machine learning, statistical methods, advanced algorithms, and deep domain expertise to tackle complex industry challenges. Our models are deployed on a robust internal data science platform, enabling scalable solutions.
As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-impact data products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Domain Experts to deliver production-ready solutions. We have a globally distributed, highly collaborative team and Calgary has been a major hub for us.

- Create and maintain data products to solve key business problems in the energy sector, including power and energy transition.
- Write clean, production-quality code and well-documented experiments.
- Collaborate across functions to integrate models into scalable applications.
- Apply pragmatic, fit-for-purpose solutions and select the right tools for each job.
Competitive Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of Data Science experience
- Experience with development tools - Required: Python, Numpy, Pandas, Git. Preferred but not required: Kubernetes, Docker, modern CI/CD, Spark
- Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Scrum, Agile, and collaboration practices
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.
