The Opportunity


Macquarie Cloud Services (MCS) is looking for an energetic, impact-focused Demand Generation Manager to join our high-performing marketing team during a period of strong growth and opportunity. This role is responsible for leading and executing integrated demand generation programs that deliver measurable pipeline impact, generate high-quality leads, and support revenue acceleration.

 

You will play a key role in shaping go-to-market activity, collaborating across sales, channel and product to bring campaigns to life and ensure they land with the right audience at the right time. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across demand and lead generation within the IT Services industry — with a clear focus on achieving business outcomes, not just marketing metrics. You are confident making decisions, unafraid to test and pivot, and driven by results.

 

The Demand Generation Manager will be a key contributor to the success of our go-to-market engine, helping to translate strategy into real, measurable business results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving campaigns from concept to impact, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong commercial instinct to everything they do.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies that support business growth, increase market visibility, and generate a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multi-channel campaigns — including ABM, events, thought leadership and digital — focused on acquisition, engagement, and lead conversion.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from Sales, Channel, Product to build campaigns that are aligned to shared business objectives and priorities.
  • Actively participate in campaign kick-off meetings and go-to-market planning, bringing insights around timing, tactics, and audience segmentation.
  • Ensure seamless lead handoff and alignment with Sales teams, with clarity around lead qualification criteria and campaign intent.
  • Support the use of campaign tools and platforms (Salesforce) to ensure activity is tracked, attributed, and actionable by Sales.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness. whether through creative testing, targeting refinements, or new channel opportunities.

Your experience & skills required

  • 5 -8 years of experience in similar marketing or demand generation roles within a technology company.
  • Experience building and driving campaigns end-to-end from concept to execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience in customer engagement, retention and/or lifecycle management roles.
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot or Salesforce.
  • Experience with NPS program is desirable.
  • Product marketing experience.
  • Self-driven and a team player.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage complex scenarios.
