Leonardo.Ai, an Australian tech startup now part of Canva, is on a transformative mission to democratise design and ignite the world's creativity through our groundbreaking AI-powered platform. With over 50 million users worldwide, we’re rapidly expanding our footprint across enterprise, creative teams, and professional workflows.
About the Role
We’re searching for a highly organised and strategically minded Demand Generation Manager to own Leonardo.Ai’s event strategy and B2B performance marketing across our priority regions: US, EMEA, and Australia. You will lead the planning and execution of global events, from flagship owned experiences to third-party conference sponsorships, while also driving paid performance media and integrated demand generation programs that fuel enterprise growth.
This role sits at the heart of our B2B revenue engine, designed to build awareness, deepen relationships, accelerate enterprise pipeline, and strengthen Leonardo.Ai’s presence across key industries and audiences.
Where You’ll Make Your Mark
B2B Paid Performance Media and Demand Generation
Own the planning, execution, and optimisation of B2B paid performance campaigns across channels such as LinkedIn.
Develop audience segmentation and targeting strategies that fuel enterprise pipeline creation and accelerate deal velocity.
Partner with Sales to design and optimise lead routing, scoring, nurture journeys, and follow up plays.
Continuously test creative, messaging, and landing page experiences to improve CPL, MQL quality, and full funnel conversion.
Reporting & Insights
Build dashboards and frameworks to measure event performance, paid media efficiency, pipeline generation, and ROI.
Conduct post event and post campaign reviews, sharing insights to refine future programming.
Present key learnings, quarterly plans, and ROI analysis to leadership.
Global Owned Education Events (IRL & online)
Lead end-to-end execution of Leonardo.Ai’s owned IRL & virtual events (webinars) across the US, EMEA, and Australia.
Manage all logistics and operations, including venue selection, production, vendors, contracts, registration, and onsite operations (as needed).
Execute a range of formats including targeted ABM style executive dinners, invite only educational sessions, and Leonardo led training and demo days.
Partner closely with marketing, creative, and sales teams to design event concepts, programming, and attendee experience from pre-event promotion to post-event follow up.
Build scalable event frameworks that can be replicated across markets.
Third-Party Conferences & Sponsorships
Identify high-impact industry conferences, trade shows, and partner-led events aligned with growth priorities and own the event calendar.
Lead the sponsorship evaluation process, negotiate packages, and manage activation plans.
Own booth design, creative assets, session opportunities, and pre-/post-event engagement.
Develop measurement plans to track ROI, pipeline contribution, and engagement.
The Skills (and Mindset) We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing global events including flagship owned experiences, executive dinners, webinars, and third party conferences.
Strong understanding of enterprise marketing, sales cycles, and how events and paid media jointly drive pipeline creation and acceleration.
Hands on experience running B2B paid performance media, including LinkedIn and retargeting, and multi step nurture flows.
A data driven analytical mindset and comfort interpreting campaign results and ROI.
Excellent project management and operational execution, you thrive in details, timelines, and cross-functional organisation.
Skilled at managing agencies, vendors and international logistics.
Confident communicator with experience managing speakers, executives, partners, and stakeholders.
Comfortable owning budgets, negotiating sponsorships, and assessing ROI.
Adaptable, proactive, and energised by fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
