Your role at Clorox:

The Demand & Supply Planner (CIC) is responsible for planning the demand forecast; the production and distribution of goods across the CIC network while achieving desired service levels, inventory target, capacity constraints, and keeping to total delivered cost targets.
This includes incorporating the best available inputs to maintain production, capacity, and inventory settings and policies by SKU/location in the planning system, applying sound business knowledge and judgment, and facilitating robust cross-functional discussions to develop high-quality plans to be used by manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, and transportation functions and business units for planning, execution, and financial management.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop high-quality demand forecasts and supply plans (inventory, production, capacity, and distribution) by utilising best-practice processes and sound business judgment. Update and maintain latest MRP in Planning Tool
  • Raise monthly PR, collate container loads release POs and share forecast with CIC and external suppliers. Manage phase in/out strategies for promotional activities and product discontinuations. Assist with NPD creation and product exit strategy and keep inventory master data up to date and accurate
  • Provide support for the delivery of MTO, NPD and other strategic business projects with scope pertaining to Planning responsibilities/objectives. Evaluate and support ad hoc Sales and Marketing opportunities for capacity requirements and production feasibility. Communicate constraints and coordinate resolution
  • Provide summarized plans for input into for monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with the focus on delivering a concise business message, highlighting exceptions and presenting qualified alternatives
  • Track monthly progress of key KPI targets :  Forecast accuracy, Case Fill Rate, FDOS, Inventory Targets, Slobs and OOS (lost opportunities)
  • Review Planning capabilities and recommend system and/or process enhancements

What we look for:

  • Experience in a demand forecasting and supply planning (1-2  years experience preferred)
  • Degree qualification in supply chain management preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Working knowledge S&OP process
  • Experience with forecasting software (Kinaxis preferred)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel & Power BI
  • Ability to work cross functionally to meet team goals
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent facilitation and resolution skills; ability to drive consensus
  • Autonomous and process driven
  • Effectively prioritize work load and objective focused
  • Ability to provide direction in ambiguous situation
