What your typical day will look like 

The Performance Manager plays a critical role within the team structure, owning best-practice execution across all biddable and paid media channels and direct buys for our global client. Reporting to the Digital Director, you’ll have an excellent grasp of digital advertising and marketing platforms, such as Google Ad suite (Search, Display & Video) LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and other social platforms, to strategically plan, advise, deliver, and optimise campaigns to agreed business outcomes for our clients.

 

With the support of the team, you’ll contribute to the overarching media strategy for biddable and paid media within the portfolio, owning the end-to-end campaign experience from recommending strategy and planning to execution and reporting/post campaign analysis. Key responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with the Digital Director and wider media team to support the development of integrated media strategies across Paid Social, Programmatic, and Paid Search campaigns.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of biddable media campaigns ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Manage and execute search campaigns from research to executing bidding strategies and targeting.
  • Plan, execute, test, monitor, and optimise paid media campaigns across the Google Ads suite, Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Extract and analyse performance data for internal and external meetings, presenting insights, trends, and opportunities for future campaigns.
  • Support and mentor junior team members by establishing best-practice processes, reviewing work for accuracy, and troubleshooting in-platform issues as the subject matter expert (SME).
  • Act as a Performance SME, sharing innovations and developing ideas with clients and teams to drive growth and meet business goals.
  • ·Build strong relationships with publishers and partners, driving innovation, training, and development for our clients.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach, leveraging data-driven insights to inform future strategies across all performance channels.

A bit about you 

  • Experience working in a media agency or similar environment in a performance led role across planning and execution.
  • Experience in Google Ad Suite (DV360, CM360, Google Ads, SA360, GA4) and Bing.
  • Experience with paid social buying and overseeing campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and Reddit to drive audience engagement.
  • Experience working on paid search campaigns from research to execution
  • Understanding of cross channel integration, creating synergies across programmatic, search and social to deliver cohesive performance outcomes.
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset, possessing a good understanding of media KPIs and success metrics used to drive strategic decision making and optimise performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate complex, technical ideas to a wide range of audiences to understand.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel Skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader on and offshore team.
  • Natural curiosity and desire to keep abreast of constantly evolving digital media landscape.
