The organisation is undertaking a major global digital manufacturing transformation, deploying a next‑generation Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across five international production sites, fully integrated with the enterprise ERP ecosystem. To support this critical initiative, we are seeking an accomplished Deployment Manager to lead and govern the full cutover process.

This role provides the opportunity to take ownership of a highly complex, multi‑site deployment that will modernise operational capabilities, enhance production efficiency, and contribute significantly to the future state of our global manufacturing network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deployment Planning - Own the end‑to‑end Cutover Plan and ensure alignment with program timelines and governance.
  • Cutover Execution - Manage the integrated cutover schedule, freeze periods, downtime, rehearsals, and readiness checkpoints.
  • Environment & Release Management - Oversee all environments and coordinate release and transport activities across Oracle, S/4, and middleware.
  • Data Migration Coordination - Integrate all data migration tasks, ensuring readiness, validation gates, freeze windows, and final load alignment.
  • Business Readiness - Ensure business preparedness across training, access, communications, hypercare, and contingency planning.
  • Technical & Integration Oversight - Coordinate interface cutover, vendor activities, downtime, and deployment of all technical components.
  • Go‑Live Leadership - Run the command centre, lead issue triage, and maintain real‑time cutover reporting.
  • Risk & Issue Control - Identify risks, manage the RAID log, escalate blockers, and define rollback scenarios.
  • Quality & Governance - Enforce readiness gates, compliance, and continuous improvement of cutover methodology.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Lead the Cutover Working Group and deliver clear updates to program leadership and functional teams.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience delivering IT projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong manufacturing background; medical device manufacturing experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage cross‑functional, geographically dispersed internal and external teams.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Office, JIRA; QTest experience is a plus.
  • Delivery of IT projects using hybrid Waterfall/Agile methodologies.
  • Test management and oversight of project stage gates.
