The Design Developer will manage tech packs, coordinate with factories, create CADs, and maintain sample organization, requiring design education and experience in fashion.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design Developer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing initial tech pack set ups including saving out finalised CAD’s and application of design finishes.
- Managing the set up of BOM’s within tech packs, along with colour, print and trim selection.
- Working in line with the garment tech team to ensure construction and fit of garment is maintained.
- Requesting initial strike offs, lab dips, knit downs and print placement requests with factories.
- Managing print strike off trackers and communicating with the design team regarding updates.
- Approval of final lab dips, strike offs & trims following order placement
- Working alongside Buying and Senior Design Developer to render CAD’s and finalise print placements
- Daily communication with factories following sample developments
- Maintain sample racks, print strike off racks and fabric drawers in an organised manner
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role ideally within the fast fashion industry
- Tertiary education in Design is essential
- Strong experience in Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator
- Experience in CAD development
- A passion for design & style
- General knowledge of garment construction and application of fabrications and trims to design
- Exceptional organisational skills
- General skills in Google Sheets/Excel
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Can work autonomously as well as part of a team
