About the role
As our B2B Design Manager, you’ll shape a bold design vision and strategy that drives impact for customers and the business. Partnering with cross-functional leaders, you’ll champion customer needs and turn insights into experiences that inspire action. Leading a talented design team, you’ll guide them in delivering products that elevate our platform and delight our customers.
What you'll do:
- Shape the segment strategy – Partner with the B2B Segment Leadership Team to embed design and customer experience into the vision, strategy, and roadmap. Use data and insights to guide priorities, align cross-functional teams, and continuously refine plans to achieve both customer and business outcomes.
- Lead and inspire your team – Manage and mentor 2–4 product designers in cross-functional squads, setting clear direction, supporting career growth, and ensuring sustainable ways of working. Provide constructive feedback and uphold quality in design research and delivery.
- Elevate our design practice – Champion best-in-class design processes, tools, and rituals across the CX team, driving continuous improvement in how we collaborate, discover, and deliver.
Skills and Experience:
- 7+ years experience in experience design, with strong product and technology team expertise.
- Proven service design skills and ability to apply systems thinking to enhance end-to-end customer journeys.
- Excellent communicator, adept at stakeholder engagement, customer empathy, and cross-functional consensus building.
- Proficient in Figma and emerging UX/UI tools.
- Skilled in scoping and conducting user research, including recruitment and qualitative methods, to rapidly test solutions.
- Knowledge of UX strategies and trends for web and mobile platforms.
- Experience in health, wellbeing, and/or aged care sectors, with deep understanding of diverse user needs.
- Able to design from scratch or improve existing features using user-centred design principles.
- Comfortable in collaborative, challenge-oriented environments with engineering, data, product, and UX teams.
- Experienced in working directly with developers to implement designs.
