The Design Project Manager develops project plans, manages costs, conducts risk assessments, and oversees project deliverables while ensuring client satisfaction and collaboration with internal teams.
Design Project Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
-Manage cost estimates, budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting.
-Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
-Assign tasks to team members and provide progress feedback.
-Monitor deliverables and measure success against defined metrics.
-Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.
-Prepare work orders and statements of work.
-Build and maintain relationships with design and construction teams.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, representing Telehouse professionally.
-Organize and submit project documentation and product data sheets.
-Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure smooth handover, operational readiness, and long-term sustainability of delivered projects.
-Execute projects under the leadership of the Projects Director, integrating insights from internal experts and aligning with directives from TELEHOUSE Canada Technical Leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
-Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects in Canada.
-Experience in data centers or high-reliability environments is a plus.
-PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Solid technical understanding of construction and project management practices.

Salary range for the role: $90,000 to $110,000 annual
