The Opportunity
Your role is to work across the Macquarie Technology Group business units on major software projects, systems enhancements, and support activities across our core platforms. Work on these platforms will be determined by business plans.
The Developer will be involved in all phases of project delivery, from design & prototyping through to development and delivery. This role will work with internal IT stakeholders to develop technical solutions for our customers (internal and external) with a focus on outstanding customer experience and platform sustainability.
The Developer is a professional who brings high quality outcomes to front-end and or back-end development tasks, a desire to make a difference, a continuous improvement mindset and thrives when collaborating and working within teams.

What you'll be doing
- Participate in the design and development of software projects
- Providing 3rd Level Support
- Involvement in the continuous improvement process
- Involvement in improving development, estimating and velocity processes
Experience and skills required
- ServiceNow certified
- Bachelor's Degree qualified in IT
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, including systems administrator functions.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing software
- Experience in guiding and supporting junior developers
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions in complex technology environments
- Highly desirable experience with CI/CD pipelines and or tools
- Desirable experience with front-end and or back-end
- Experience in more than one technology is highly desirable
