Responsibilities

In this role you will be working with a team that manages the operations of a global IVR system, assisting with the deployment of applications to AWS and on-premises architectures, across different environments. Additional tasks include monitoring the performance and the stability of the IVR environment in all regions, (AMR, EMEIA and JAPAC), and responding to any needs in a timely manner. Requires some evening and weekend work, depending on business needs.

Requirements

In addition to excellent communication and client interaction skills you should have experience with:

  • Familiarity with AWS S3, EC2, Auto scaling, CloudFormation and CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with Unix ( MacOS and Linux versions )
  • Familiarity with MySQL commands and syntax
  • Network basics ( nslookup, ping, netcat, traceroute, tcpdump, etc )
  • Experience with IAC (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Experience configuring ASG setup
  • Experience with Lambda and horizontal scaling
  • Coordinate and collaborate well with other team members and external partners

Desired Experience

  • Familiarity with Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server
  • Familiarity with Cisco Splunk querying
  • Familiarity with Genesys configuration manager
  • Some understanding of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)
  • Experience with IVRs
  • Familiarity with Call Center Systems Operations
