Your New Role

In this newly created role, you’ll play an integral role enhancing system reliability and performance utilising cutting-edge DevOps practices and Azure cloud technologies. Your responsibilities will include CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and system integration, ensuring seamless deployment, operational efficiency, and robust security that supports our business growth.


Key Responsibilities Include:

· Designing, implementing, and managing scalable Azure cloud infrastructure

· Developing and executing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure system resilience

· Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for smooth integration and deployment processes

· Collaborating with development teams to ensure optimized and efficient infrastructure design

· Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues ensuring high availability and reliability

· Optimising cloud costs and handling capacity planning effectively

· Implementing and upholding security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards

· Maintaining and managing cloud network infrastructure, including load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs

 

About You:

You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with data, development, and other IT teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. You’re highly organised, proficient at managing competing priorities and stakeholders while delivering to deadlines. If you have most or all of the following, we’d love to hear from you:

· 3+ years’ experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on Azure cloud

· 5+ years’ experience in infrastructure support (cloud/on-prem)

· Strong expertise with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM, or Azure Bicep templates

· Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable

· Experience in a highly regulated industry

· Relevant tertiary qualifications
