About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive with a passion for driving digital transformation and amplifying the impact of nonprofit organisations. This role will focus on bringing Salesforce Marketing Cloud to market within the nonprofit sector across Australia and New Zealand, covering a range of nonprofit customers, including Enterprise organisations in both countries.
The ideal candidate is highly relationship-driven, with a deep passion for the nonprofit space and a consultative sales approach. They will engage with nonprofit leaders, understand their unique challenges, and position Salesforce’s digital marketing solutions to drive meaningful change. Travel will be required to effectively support customers across both regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis:

Conduct thorough market research to identify key players, trends, and opportunities within the nonprofit sector across Australia and New Zealand.

Stay abreast of industry regulations and technological advancements that may impact nonprofit organisations.
Business Development:
-
Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and influencers within nonprofit organisations.

Develop strategies to expand Salesforce’s footprint within enterprise nonprofits in Australia and key nonprofit organisations in New Zealand.

Work closely with internal teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns.
Solution Selling:

Understand the digital challenges faced by nonprofit organisations and articulate how Salesforce Marketing Cloud can address those challenges.

Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations tailored to the unique needs of nonprofit organisations.

Drive adoption of Marketing Cloud solutions within both existing Salesforce customers and net-new accounts.
Pipeline Management:

Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and qualification to closing deals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce and forecast accurately.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with business development, peer Account Executives, solution engineering teams, and implementation partners to ensure a seamless transition from sales to implementation.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted content and campaigns for the nonprofit sector.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Proven track record of success in Software as a Service sales, ideally with marketing software experience.

‘Experience selling into nonprofit organisations, including key accounts in both Australia and New Zealand.

Ability to generate pipeline and revenue from both install and whitespace accounts while fostering strong client relationships.

A passion for nonprofit transformation and helping organisations amplify their impact through digital solutions.

Strong consultative and relationship-driven sales approach, with the ability to engage and inspire nonprofit leaders.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel as required to support customers across Australia and New Zealand.
