The Global Distribution division is responsible for the distribution of NBCU's film and TV product to television and new media customers in all markets outside North America. Within the Global Distribution division, UPHE team has specific responsibility for growing transactional digital (Electronic Sell-through and Transactional Video on Demand) business in these markets, including managing on-going customer relationships with all key digital platforms (i.e. Amazon, Apple, Google, Foxtel etc) and consumer marketing to maximise revenue.
Job Description
The Digital Account Management Intern supports the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) team, helping manage the digital distribution of NBCU film and TV content across platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google, and Foxtel. You will ensure NBCU's movies and TV shows are correctly promoted, merchandised, and performing well across major digital retailers while learning how the home entertainment business operates.

Job Description
The Digital Account Management Intern supports the Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE) team, helping manage the digital distribution of NBCU film and TV content across platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Google, and Foxtel. You will ensure NBCU's movies and TV shows are correctly promoted, merchandised, and performing well across major digital retailers while learning how the home entertainment business operates.
- Supporting Account Management team in day-to-day management of all key platforms
- Supporting team on film and TV price promotions including building title submissions, loading pricing into studio systems and client specific platforms or forms, and promotional store checks
- Conducting digital store checks ensuring accurate and timely setup, pricing, placement and use of assets of all film and TV releases
- Maintaining up-to-date new release trackers for all key platforms
- Collating platform coverage support deck for all key film and TV releases and promotions
- Assisting with creation and sell in of presentations for upcoming film and TV releases
- Monitoring competitor and industry changes that affect sales performance, both directly and indirectly, and researching current entertainment market trends
- Capturing minutes and actions from account and internal meetings as required
- Copywriting for the International Distribution newsletter
- Event & screening coordination support, including direct contact with key account contacts as required
- Other ad hoc coordination tasks for Account Management team as required
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (i.e. knowledge of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs is desirable but not definitive), PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Word.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Well organised with great prioritisation skills.
- Be a good communicator with an analytical mind and a desire to learn.
Desired Characteristics:
- A passion for Film & TV and an interest in understanding global and local entertainment industry landscapes.
- Ideally completing a business/commerce, media/communications, marketing, or similar degree in the 2027 year
