THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an opportunity for a Digital Content Manager to set the strategic direction for the content strategy plan and champion customer personalisation within the Business Unit and lead this way of working across the enterprise. As we continue working in more agile practices, you’ll play a crucial role in guiding and shaping how this position develops.

This role will be the lead of the development and execution of a data-driven, personalised content strategy across omnichannel platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement, brand differentiation, and business growth. This role champions the integration of customer insights, advanced analytics, and innovative content approaches to position J&J at the forefront of customer-centric marketing. You will be a critical member of the Brand Team reporting to the Commercial Lead in Immunology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set the strategic direction for the Content Strategy Plan by synthesising qualitative and quantitative insights, including advanced data analytics, to ensure content aligns with overarching brand and business objectives
  • Champion customer personalisation by defining segmentation, mapping optimal channels, and curating persona-driven content that fosters engagement, loyalty, and clear differentiation for J&J
  • Work hand in hand with the brand leads on driving omnichannel excellence
  • Steer operational planning and execution, driving cross-functional collaboration with marketing, technology, and other key stakeholders to embed content personalisation as a core business capability
  • Lead the design and implementation of omnichannel initiatives, ensuring all customer engagement activities are strategically aligned to deliver measurable impact and support brand growth
  • Provide strategic oversight on customer engagement metrics, distilling actionable insights and guiding the marketing team to refine content and brand strategy based on evolving customer needs
  • Design and oversee the deployment of customer microjourneys in collaboration with technology partners, ensuring seamless, personalised experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Direct quarterly content planning and development, leveraging modular content authoring approaches and partnering closely with agencies to deliver innovative, scalable solutions
  • Lead strategic engagement with the Data Science Team to harness customer data, uncover new personalisation opportunities, and continually advance the organisation's content capability and competitive edge

  • Degree in Marketing/Communications/Science
  • 5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or FMCG or another industry within digital marketing
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation in an international environment
  • A track record of success in running personalised digital campaigns
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
    • A positive, solutions-oriented approach
    • Ability to navigate ambiguity
    • Knowledge of modular content and experience in using an authoring tool
