About us

At Splend, we’re on a mission to fundamentally change the way people own and operate a vehicle. With a strategic focus on Rideshare, we provide our customers straight forward, no strings attached access to vehicle ownership.
But we aren’t just about vehicle ownership; We are also fast-tracking the transition to green mobility, and we are leading the way globally in reducing the carbon footprint of the transportation sector by transitioning our fleet to electric vehicles.

About the role

We’re looking for a data-driven, creative, and commercially minded digital marketer to take ownership of conversion rate optimisation (CRO), search engine optimisation (SEO), and content performance across our digital channels.
This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, website experience, and content strategy — perfect for someone who thrives on improving results through experimentation, insight, and execution. You’ll play a critical role in driving organic growth, improving onsite engagement, and turning traffic into high-quality leads or sales.

This role is based out of our Haymarket, Sydney CBD office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a structured CRO strategy across website and landing pages to improve lead and sales conversion.
  • Use A/B and multivariate testing to optimise user journeys and drive incremental uplift in performance.
  • Analyse user behaviour via GA4, SEM Rush, or similar tools to identify friction points and conversion barriers.
  • Report on test outcomes, learnings, and future recommendations.
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Own on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to increase visibility, ranking, and organic traffic.
  • Conduct regular keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap assessments.
  • Monitor and report on SEO performance, rankings, and crawl health.
  • Build high-quality backlink opportunities and manage outreach where required.
  • Digital Content Marketing
  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO, audience insights, and brand objectives.
  • Create visual and written engaging, search-optimised content (blog posts, landing pages, guides, etc.).
  • Partner with the broader marketing team on integrated campaigns across paid, social, and email channels.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on SEO, CRO, and content marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and data visualisation tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or similar).
  • Experience with CRO tools such as Hotjar, Optimizely, VWO, or Google Optimize.
  • Proven experience developing SEO-led content strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Familiarity with UX principles and a collaborative approach to working with designers and developers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for both detail and commercial outcomes.
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience in lead generation or eCommerce performance environments.
  • Understanding of paid media and how CRO/SEO integrates into multi-channel acquisition.
  • Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.).
  • Exposure to AI or automation tools for content and performance optimisation.

What we offer

  • Performance based bonus.
  • Salary packaging with 15% employer contributions for Electric Vehicles
  • A day off on your birthday
