Job Description

As the Digital Experience Specialist for COS Australia, you will play a key role in delivering a compelling and commercially-driven customer journey across our digital channels. With a strong eye for visual merchandising and content planning, you will ensure that our online experience reflects the COS brand and inspires conversion.

You will lead the creation and execution of on-site content, campaign storytelling, and product presentation aligned to customer insights and the COS commercial calendar. Your focus will be on showcasing the right products at the right time, delivering clear and consistent messaging, and upholding the brand identity across cos.com, newsletters, and other digital touchpoints.

The Digital Experience Specialist reports to the E-Commerce Manager in Australia.

What you will do:

  • Manage and optimize the customer experience across our digital channels (cos.com, Instagram, newsletters, and automated email programs) in Australia.
  • Translate the regional commercial plan into an actionable content strategy that drives strong commercial performance, aligning with the COS brand direction.
  • Create engaging content, optimize website features, and ensure effective category merchandising to enhance the shopping experience, driving sales and conversion rates.
  • Keep track of product availability, ensuring content is aligned with the commercial calendar and showcasing the most relevant products.
  • Work with global and regional teams to identify and test enhancements to content layout, navigation, and merchandising impact, driven by commercial and customer insights.
  • Analyze sales performance, web analytics, user behavior, and heatmapping to identify opportunities to boost digital sales, improve profit, enhance brand perception, and drive customer lifetime value.
  • Work closely with team members across marketing, merchandising, CRM, digital performance, and website experience to ensure seamless execution of digital strategies and activities.
  • Work closely with local and regional stakeholders to ensure timely product enrichment, content execution, and performance optimisation.
  • Partner with the Global Digital Experience and Global Content Team to ensure strong product placement and communication that is commercially and visually impactful.
  • Regularly report on digital performance, including weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, offering insights for continual improvement.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or customer experience management. Previous experience working with digital channels, visual merchandising, website management, and A/B testing is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of commercial goals and how to translate them into a digital content strategy that drives performance.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from web analytics, user behavior, sales data, and other digital metrics.
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and behaviors and the ability to translate insights into effective actions that drive conversion and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and regions. Ability to work with various stakeholders, both locally and globally, to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to create visually strong, on-brand content while balancing commercial goals with the COS aesthetic.
  • Well-structured and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong planning, execution, and reporting capabilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs, market conditions, and customer demands.
  • Strong interest in fashion and the ability to enhance the brand’s perception through effective digital strategies and storytelling.

This is a 12-months contract position based in our Sydney office.
