The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimising digital marketing strategies and campaigns to drive business growth, engagement, and brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, data-driven decision making, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners to achieve business objectives.
In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on driving both paid and organic campaign performance, managing the company’s digital presence, and continuously improving online engagement while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. This position requires adaptability, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset to navigate the evolving digital landscape.
Responsibilities;
Digital projects and initiatives;
Manage end-to-end delivery of digital projects, including website builds, platform enhancements and automation tools, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders through all project phases—from scoping and planning to testing, launch, and post-implementation review—to ensure quality and performance outcomes.
Work with partners and vendors to define and implement digital application platform
Execute any associated comms strategy with participating dealer groups to optimise leads and conversion
Manage compliance across partner and third-party digital platforms;
Manage AAF’s marketing and ad content review process including our Red Marker AI-marketing compliance software solution
Day-to-day dealer advertising approval process and always-on website integrations
Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate legal, compliance and brand review & approvals
Embed digital engagement into the physical purchase experience;
Rethink how we support the finance experience within our partners’ physical dealership sites
Partner campaign support;
Support Manufacturers and their external agencies to develop and deliver content and creative assets across TV, Radio, POS, Press, Outdoor, Social, and Digital
Ensures all marketing campaigns comply with relevant advertising regulations and industry standards, addressing potential legal and compliance risks proactively.
AAF owned website & content management;
Oversee website content, ensuring that all digital assets are up-to-date, optimised for SEO, and provide an excellent user experience.
Monitor website performance and user behaviour, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Performance Analysis & Reporting;
Monitor and analyse the performance of all digital marketing initiatives, providing detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Use insights from data analysis to optimise campaigns and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
Budget Management & ROI;
Manage relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to budget and timelines.
Manage and track the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and channels.
Qualifications;
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experiences;
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Previous experience working in Financial Services preferred
Previous experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management, SEO, social media, and digital content management.
Proven experience in managing digital channels including websites, digital marketing tools, such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, and other analytics platforms.
Experience managing external agencies and overseeing digital advertising campaign planning and execution.
Experience with both B2B and B2C marketing is preferred.
Experience in a regulated industry or with compliance-focused marketing is an advantage.
