Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering business and user outcomes by ensuring the team works on solving the right problems (Value/Viability)

1. Leadership: Product Strategy - define and communicate the product vision and strategy (including a roadmap)  which aligns with business goals
2. Customer Insight - conduct user research and interviews, gather feedback; synthesises market trends, competitor data and industry developments into insights. Use insights to inform priority decisions.
3. Value Management - continuously assess and maximise the value delivered to customers and stakeholders, presented regularly in a dashboard.
4. Fluency with Data - continuously monitor user feedback and product metrics to facilitate the team in making data-driven decisions and adjust priorities accordingly
5. Voice of the Customer and the business - prioritise the problems to solve based on impact and value
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration – collaborate with design and engineering to continuously test assumptions and iterate on solutions; including leading discovery and designing experiments

Qualifications

* Desirable - 2+ years experience in product management, within the insurance/ technology sector
* Strong understanding of customer-centric product development including articulating benefits and value proposition
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to adapt to change, build relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, and demonstrate initiative
* Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions
* Leadership capability, influencing business stakeholders and mentoring more junior team members
* Proven track record of delivering successful products in a cross-functional environment including feature specification, Product Delivery, Quality Assurance and working in an Agile environment
