Qantas Loyalty is a high performing business and has a history of launching exciting new brands and services that make a difference to its millions of Frequent Flyer and Business Rewards members. Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Business Rewards remain at the core of the program, while the business has evolved to include major partnerships and ventures across Insurance, Financial Services and Retail, as well as a number of businesses such as Qantas Money and Qantas Wine. 

The Digital Product Manager will work within an innovative team looking to add significant value for Qantas Loyalty through the Qantas Wellbeing App. Leveraging all of Qantas’ amazing assets, this role is a key member of driving Qantas Loyalty products forward and delivering a large revenue stream for the group.

Reporting to the Product Chapter Lead, the Digital Product Manager role will be responsible and accountable for the overall day to day running of the Wellbeing App as part of the Qantas Insurance team. This role will focus on end-to-end customer experience, across mobile, web and contact centre, as well as developing relationships across new channel opportunities.

The role will also need strong analytical skills with the ability to dive deeper into multiple information sources to identify pain-points and make recommendations for change – in addition to the capability of delivering key initiatives.

You’ll have:

  • 2 or 3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies and industries 
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (computer science, electrical engineering)
  • A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love 
  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies 
  • Experience launching multiple digital products 
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Demonstrable ability to deal with ambiguity and learn on the fly 
  • The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually demanding and service-oriented environment 
  • The capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving
  • A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition 
  • The ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines and influence through persuasive written and verbal communication

  • Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
