The Director Financial Insights, plays a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining financial plans and policies within our organization at an OU level. This position is an individual contributor providing financial support, guiding decision-making processes through comprehensive financial analysis and strategic insight to OU planning, insights and investments lead, OU CFO and OUP. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Senior Director, Planning, Insights and Investments.
What You'll Do for Us:
Responsible for leading, managing and ensuring excellence in OU planning and performance management processes, driving cross-franchise alignment and strengthened decision support across the system working in close coordination with OU senior director, financial insights.
At an OU level, ensure proper consolidation and submission of business plan, rolling estimate and actual monthly financial reports; volume, deductions and shipment consolidation and reporting, DME consolidation and management, and OPEX control ensuring insights are translated into forward‑looking recommendations for OU leadership.
Prepare executive level financial analytics and decks, to provide support to management for taking the best decisions for our business incorporating predictive analytics and scenario modeling that strengthens enterprise choices.
Partner with Franchise Finance Lead and Franchise Financial Insights across the OU to manage the Business Plan, Forecasting and Business Performance, to drive alignment across multiple senior stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities, including: forecasting: developing and discussing insights with OU level stakeholders, and developing robust & forward-looking scenarios.
Act as a key integrator across markets to elevate the quality and consistency of financial storytelling and drive shared accountability across the system.
Reviewing and analysing financial data (Actual Results, Rolling Estimate, Business Plan, Brand Contribution, Economic Profit, Risks & Opps to P&L etc.) to ensure accurate assumptions and alignment on the final forecast
Implement a strong process to forecast, track and management concentrate shipment and maintain a constant dialogue with CPS on this topic
Ensure strict compliance to both internal controls and statutory requirements, working closely with controls and compliance team, corporate audit, LEC and External Auditors
Close coordination with Platform Services and GenPact to drive continuous process improvement, advance digitization and automation opportunities, and enhance the efficiency and reliability of financial operations and drive global system implementation and standardization.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
8+ years of experience in commercial / business finance within consumer goods companies.
Demonstrated expertise in commercial finance, including comprehensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within consumer goods companies.
Proven track record of leadership, in roles of increasing responsibility, including people management.
Ability to assess and develop investment scenarios to maximize returns on commercial and capital investments, with a focus on capturing market-based opportunities.
Strong communication skills with experience in executive-level communication, capable of conveying complex financial concepts and insights to diverse stakeholders.
