While specializing in the payments industry, Mastercard Data & Services also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network.
Responsibilities:
This is a Business Development role within Services Incubator team. This role is responsible for driving innovation business development initiatives and consulting services to support strategic growth objectives as part of the services incubator team. The position involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. It requires expertise in analyzing market trends, developing actionable strategies, and collaborating across teams to ensure successful implementation. The role also emphasizes fostering innovation and maintaining a client-focused approach to achieve organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for business development and ongoing account ownership for Innovation and Incubator Services for Financial Institutions with direct revenue and sales responsibilities• Responsible for driving coordination within Sales, Marketing, Solutions, and Product teams across D&S business lines and value propositions, focused on the above• Will serve as the face of Mastercard D&S to senior level client stakeholders, including c-suite• Will partner with Travel segment leads of MA Market Development to develop a plan for services to support their strategic imperatives • Will work closely with delivery teams for an effective joint go to market and to ensure best-in-class value delivery
All About You• Strong understanding of innovation across FI including different ecosystem players, latest trends, new innovative products and solutions, etc. • Strong commercial drive with ability to build and monetize senior client relationships based on empathy, thought leadership and subject matter expertise• Strong networker across relevant stakeholder base with the ability to listen, build common ground and influence in order to effectively advance business opportunities and generate revenues• Strong communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral. • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across markets and divisions. • A proven attitude for learning technical terms and developing an understanding of complex technical products. • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment. • Preferably also with strong consulting and / or data driven solution selling background• Bachelor's degree minimum / MBA preferred
