DPW is seeking a senior leader to serve as Director of Organisational Change on 12-month Max term contract, overseeing transformational initiatives across Oceania. In this role, you will partner with Sponsors, Project Managers, operational leaders, and Senior Executives to shape, lead, and deliver organisation wide change strategies.

You will be accountable for building organisational change capability, assessing, and guiding the impacts of major initiatives, and ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working across the region. A critical part of the role includes providing strategic direction for clear, targeted, and influential change communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, create and manage the development and implementation of change management strategies across key projects and business transformations.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery and management of key communications.
  • Conduct business impact assessments, identifying potential risks and obstacles, and work to mitigate them.
  • Apply a structured methodology, process and tools to lead change management activities.
  • Establish and monitor feedback mechanisms, including providing reports and recommendations on key themes.
  • Foster a strong understanding of change management best practices across the organisation.
  • Ensure consistent and transparent communication across all levels of the organisation throughout the change process.
  • Develop and implement measurement systems to track the success of change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience in managing complex projects and large organisational programs, with a solid understanding of Change Management disciplines 
  • Experience working in an Industrial relations landscape
  • At least 10+ years in a senior or leadership role with demonstrated success in leading and managing change across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant Change Management disciplines 
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation and tailor messages to suit different stakeholders
  • Change management certification
