The Opportunity 

Reporting to the CRO, the primary role will be managing inside sales reps, and external channel partners. You will have a history of recruiting and managing high-performance sales teams in high-velocity and high-growth SaaS environments. You will be an excellent coach and process builder with experience recruiting top-performing Business Development Executives. 

Major duties include forecasting and metric reporting to senior management, sales coaching, and implementing repeatable and scalable sales processes. 

Hybrid Work Schedule - Monday Wednesday Thursday in-office, Tuesday and Friday WFH. 

Responsibilities

  • Hire, ramp, and manage the Business Development Executives (BDM) that consistently exceed their quotas.  
  • Training and coaching the sales team.  
  • Manage performance reviews and develop rep improvement plans.  
  • Create and execute strategic and tactical sales plans to drive new logo acquisition and customer expansion.  
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is entered into our CRM (HubSpot).  
  • Ensure that sales pipeline objectives are achieved and managed correctly.  
  • Resolve interpersonal issues within the department and escalate if required.  
  • Travel to events and conferences required, approx. 10% of time. 

Required Skills

  • 2-3+ years of successful sales management experience at a Manager/ Director level, in a SaaS environment 
  • Track record of scaling successful inside sales teams 
  • Experience managing sales teams that sell directly and thru resellers/ channel partners 
  • Track record of consistently exceeding team sales goals 
  • Experience managing similar sized inside sales team 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate a team 
  • Experience working in a high growth SaaS environment 
  • Experience using sales automation and coaching tools (Salesloft, Outreach, Gong, Chorus, insidesales.com, etc) 
  • Highly proficient in using MS365 products

  • Experience selling to K-12 and Higher Education institutions
