About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead and scale our sales operations in the Asia-Pacific region, based out of our Kuala Lumpur office. This leader will manage a team of Account Executives focused on driving growth through new business development and customer expansion for the PartsBase Locator Platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives to exceed sales targets and KPIs.
· Own the regional sales strategy, forecasting, and execution to drive platform adoption across APAC markets.
· Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
· Utilize data and CRM tools to track performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics, providing regular reporting to executive leadership.
· Establish strong client relationships with key decision-makers in aviation, aerospace, and defense companies.
· Recruit and onboard new sales talent as the team scales.
· Represent PartsBase at regional industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications
Required:
· 8+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
· Proven success managing teams selling SaaS, marketplace, or platform-based solutions.
· Deep understanding of sales cycles, pipeline management, data tools (Power BI) and CRM systems
· Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
· Willingness to travel as needed throughout the region.
Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
· Experience in aviation, aerospace, or industrial supply chain industries is a strong plus.

· Market Insight: Knowledge of the aviation, aerospace, or industrial supply industries, with the ability to identify emerging opportunities.
· Communication & Influence: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills; confident in engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Working Conditions
This position is designated as remote, with the expectation that the employee has a reliable internet connection and a dedicated, professional home workspace. While the role is primarily performed from home, occasional travel may be required for team meetings, trainings, or company events.
The employee must be available to work during core business hours aligned with the company’s needs and be accessible via email, messaging platforms, and virtual meeting tools throughout the workday. As this role supports global operations, the ability to flex working hours occasionally to accommodate different time zones is required.
